You can upload a video to myspace. Myspace has a limit of 512MB per song which means if you have a long song the quality will decrease. The way it works is that you need as much information as possible per videoframe to get the better quality. The longer the video with more frames = less information (bytes) per frame means a lesser audio/video quality.

A personal website pretty much can handle any size limited only by the amount of storage provided by your isp. These days most internet providers include alot of storage even in their most basic plans
A DVD disk can hold about 4.5 gigabytes. A five minute song at decent quality is a little less than a gig (ballpark figure).
